Police maintain innocence in New Orleans beating

NEW ORLEANS, Oct 12 (SATIRE) - In a press conference broadcast on CNN, reporters asked a lawyer for the officers accused of brutalizing Robert Davis, a black 64-year-old retired teacher, whether the three white officers had administered Miranda rights to Davis. Perhaps misunderstanding the question, Frank DeSalvo answered reporters "I can assure you that not only did they administer rights, but several left jabs to the head and a few crunching uppercuts, as well!"
