When Will I Learn To Be Free?

Yesterday was a banner day for me and my Analee,
We hate to be separate, so I gave her a set of my keys.
I Borrowed my brother's truck and I moved her into my place.
We got a little less room, but it's a much, much happier place.
Even now, on a glory day,
Sudden sorrow, cloudy gray.

CHORUS:
When will I learn to to be free
From the wayward spirit down in me?
When will it all slip away,
Leaving me satisfied someday?

Yesterday was a banner day for me and my Analee.
I gave her my name, and she gives so much more to me.
I had a peaceful feeling when I was slipping on the ring.
We greeted our families and the choir began to sing:
Even now, on a glory day,
Sudden sorrow, cloudy gray.

CHORUS

Maybe someday,
In a miracle moment I am healed.
Maybe never,
Will the mystery never be revealed?

Yesterday was a banner day for me and my Analee,
I gave her some lovin' and she gives three babies to me.
I got a peaceful feeling as I'm build for them a nest.
I shall protect them, I'm gonna do my very best.
Even now, on a glory day,
Sudden sorrow, cloudy gray.

CHORUS
